Bookings for the upcoming season in Iceland come in in floods right now. The demand for Icelandic rivers is high, for some of these it has exploded. If you fancy a trip to  Húseyjarkvísl or Litlá for example, contact me as soon as possible. The status on these waters changes daily and it is more and more difficult to realise trips there.

Die Buchungen für die kommende Islandsaison laufen auf Hochtouren. Die Nachfrage für die isländischen Flüsse ist hoch, bei einigen explodiert sie geradezu. Wenn Sie z.B. einen Trip an den Húseyjarkvísl oder die Litlá im Auge haben, melden Sie sich am besten so schnell es geht. The Húseyjarkvísl is a salmon- and seatrout river in the northwest of Iceland. Up to mid of May seatrout have been caught in the Húseyjarkvísl. Many of them silver and fresh and in great condition. Mid of May the winter came back to the north of Iceland. The salmon season in Iceland is starting. The fish are earlier in the rivers as usual – rivers like Nordurá, Húseyjarkvísl, the Laxás and the Vatnsdalsá perform well. There are still some rods available, e.g. in August on the Húseyjarkvísl, the Laxá in Leirarsveit and the Vatnsdalsá. On the latter it’s normally close to impossible to get licenses.
